This dark and earthy flavoured grain can be used in all sorts of recipes. From baking to cereal, this natural fibre will make for a fantastic addition to your diet. You can use rye grain to bulk up soups and stews and even use as a substitute for rice. To do this, measure out 1-part rye grain to 2-part water and add to a pain of boiling water. Allow the grains to simmer for around 45 minutes until they’re absorbed and puffed up. Next, simply serve alongside a dish of your choice. Voila!
