These tasty red split lentils are an ancient pulse first cultivated in South East Asia. They’re packed with nutrients and are super-simple to cook. There’s no need to soak them, simply cook in hot water for 10 minutes so they go lovely and soft.
Red split lentils can be used in all sorts of dishes. Toss them up in to a healthy salad or create a spicy dhal to accompany curries.
