Puffed quinoa — pronounced ‘kee-nwaa’— is a light grain not dissimilar so couscous. It makes for an excellent alternative to rice as is packed with lots of healthy nutrients. To cook, it’s recommended you use 1-part quinoa to every 3 of water. Place in a boiling pan of water and allow to simmer for around 15 minutes until it’s lovely and soft.
