These tiny mung beans are often green but can be black or yellow. They’re sweet and tender, making them a great addition to soups and casseroles.

The mung bean originates from India and can be found in lots of dhal recipes. To cook, make sure you soak them for 4 – 8 hours before cooking them in boiling water for around 45 minutes.
