Organic Brown Long Grain Rice

This brown long grain rice is a nutritious alternative to white rice. It’s had nothing but the hard outer shell removed so you can expect lots of healthy complex carbohydrates. To cook, make sure to rinse under cold water to remove any starch, before putting it in a pan of water. Bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 40 minutes.

1 cup brown rice (short, medium or long grain brown rice will work, as long as it’s not a quick-cooking variety) 6 cups water Salt, soy sauce or other desired seasonings, to taste
