Brown Jasmine rice is a perfectly unpolished rice that has had just the husk removed. It’s packed with nutrients including fibres and complex carbohydrates that’ll make you feel fuller for longer. It’s also gluten-free, so makes for a fantastic alternative for any celiac sufferers.

Brown Jasmine rice has long grains and produces delicious nutty aromas that make the perfect accompaniment to many dishes including curries and stir-fry. To cook, rinse under the tap before adding to a pot of salted water. Bring to the boil before reducing to a simmer. Because this is a wholegrain rice, you’ll need to wait around 45-50 minutes before it’s lovely and tender.
