We will be expanding our delivery areas soon - watch this space! Make sure you’re signed up to our email list to receive any updates on delivery locations.

How does delivery work?
At Roots & Hoots we operate a personal zero waste delivery service. Your items will be packed into reusable containers - cotton bags/ metal tins/ glass bottles depending on the product - and delivered by one of our Delivery Team members in an electric van.

When will I receive my order?
Orders for our Brighton delivery zone will be delivered between 8am-6pm Monday-Friday. We aim to deliver your order within 48 hours, for orders placed before 10am Mon-Thu, but occasionally we may take a little longer. Orders for our extended delivery zones are delivered on alternate Wednesdays, and your order will be delivered the next date we're in your area. We’ll provide you with an estimated delivery day and will update you every step of the way via email.

Can I choose my delivery day and time?
We will only be delivering to your area at a set time each day, and your delivery time depends on where you live. Our routes are planned to minimise carbon emissions and food miles. For these reasons we can’t offer delivery time slots at the moment.

Do I have to be home to receive my delivery?
No you don’t. If our driver arrives when you’re not at home, they will follow your instructions and leave the delivery in your designated safe place. Please note that your order will be left in an uncovered cardboard box in your designated safe place. If you haven't provided a designated safe space they will take your order away with them and reattempt delivery on another day.

Free container return policy - the Closed Loop system
As part of our Closed Loop system for zero waste deliveries, all containers (cotton bags, metal tins and glass bottles) can be returned to us for free. We then thoroughly clean & sanitise each container and reuse it in future deliveries. To organise a container collection please contact our customer service team at hello@rootsandhoots.com.

Is there a minimum order value and delivery charge?
Orders of £20 and over qualify for FREE delivery, and orders up to the value of £19.99 are charged a flat delivery rate of £4.99. There is no minimum order value.

Our packaging policy
At Roots & Hoots we run a completely packaging free service for our refill products. Your goods will be packed into reusable containers (cotton bags/ aluminium tins/ glass bottles), loaded into our electric van and delivered to your door by hand. No packaging, no waste, no fuss.

Returns policy
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order we will gladly accept returns for non-perishable goods within 7 days of purchase. Please contact our customer service team at hello@rootsandhoots.com and we will arrange with you to collect or have you return the goods. Please note we cannot accept returns for any sealed items where the seal has been broken.
